Cancellation Policy:
Atlantic Star Lines may for any reason whatsoever cancel any sailing at any time including the event of a full-ship charter. In such events, ASL's only liability will be to refund the passenger the amount received for the cruise ticket. Change of Itinerary: ASL expressly reserves the right to omit or substitute any scheduled port or shore excursion at any time for any reason whatsoever without prior notice. In the event of such an omission or substitution, no liability will be granted by ASL. All itineraries are subject to change. ASL reserves the right to change reservations in the event of a full boat charter, and to cancel, postpone or substitute any scheduled sailing, itinerary or port of call at any time.
Refunds:
All cancellations inside of 60 days, for any reason, must be received in writing/email and will be subject to a $100-per-person administrative fee. Cancellations occurring within 39 days of departure or nonappearance will result in forfeiture of the entire cost of the trip. We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance.
Responsibility:
Atlantic Star Lines, here in referred to as ASL, and/or their agents assume no liability for failure to provide the services and accommodations referred to in this brochure to the extent that such services and accommodations cannot be supplied due to delays or other causes beyond the control of ASL. In the absence of negligence on the part of ASL, the cruise participant agrees that ASL has no responsibility or liability of any nature whatsoever for damage to or loss of property, or injury to or death of persons due to any act, omission or negligence of any carrier, hotel, restaurant, bus carrier, tender service, sight-seeing company or any other person rendering any of the services or ground portions of the itinerary, and the cruise participant further waives any claim against ASL for any such damage, loss, injury or death. ASL shall not be responsible for any delays, substitution of equipment or any act or omission whatsoever by the suppliers of such services, their agents, servants and employees, and the cruise participant hereby waives any claim arising there from. ASL reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any cruise participant at any time.
Medical/Physical Conditions:
It is the nature of this cruise being a soft adventure, one must be able to use a boarding ladder, get in and out of small ship's launches while the wave action can vary from calm to rough, and on occasion walk moderate distances ashore. In short one need be in generally good health in order to enjoy this cruise. ASL must also inform you that there are no medical facilities on board or handicapped access and passengers must inform ASL at the time of reservation of any medical or physical condition that may infringe on their ability to take this cruise for their own safety and that of the other passengers. Also any dietary needs must be acknowledged at the time of reservation in order that ASL may determine if we can meet your needs. ASL, their employees and agents, reserve the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is unfit to travel due to a physical or mental condition or who may require care beyond the capability of ASL. Any complication due to pregnancy that may occur during a cruise will not be the responsibility or the liability of ASL. ASL regards the third trimester of a pregnancy as a travel risk and reserves the right to refuse passage to pregnant women.
