  • Where and what time may I board?

Ahoy, Sailors! We will board in Red Hook, by D-Dock, at American Yacht Harbor (between Molly Malone’s Irish Pub and Chris Sawyers Dive Shop) which is about a 20-minute cab ride from Charlotte Amalie, or 30 minutes from the airport. A crewmember will be dockside from 2:00pm to check guests in and take luggage. We then board at 4pm (if you are going to arrive later than 4:00pm, please call our office – 401-849-3033).

  • How should I dress?

The Caribbean is a very informal, casual area—very beach and water-oriented.  Shorts, T-shirts and bathing suits will most likely be your attire for the entire trip.  Rubber-soled shoes aboard Arabella are preferable and certainly no shoes are fine as well! Also, you may want to bring a pair of water shoes. (See the "What to Pack” list for more details.)

  • What meals are included?

Breakfast and lunch are served onboard everyday and are included as well as hors d’oeuvres in the afternoon. Dinners are primarily ashore and all are included except one, the fourth night of the cruise, which is in Virgin Gorda at the Bitter End Yacht Club. Here you have a choice of four or five places to dine, from upscale ‘Bira’s Creek’ to burgers and sandwiches at ‘The Fat Virgin’s Café’.

  • What time will I return to St. Thomas?

You will disembark in Red Hook late morning…usually by 10:30-11am. If you have a flight that day, we suggest arranging one from 1:00pm just to be on the safe side.  We will certainly assist you if the only flight you are able to reserve is earlier and your time is crunched.

  • What if I miss departure time?

If you are unable to make departure time on the first day (plane delays, etc.), it is very simple to catch up with Arabella. Simply take a taxi to Red Hook and we will have a crewmember pick you up. Just make sure you have the boat's number on hand to call us when you arrive.

  • What if my family needs (or I need) to get a hold of me in the case of an emergency?

In the case a family member needs to get a hold of you or you need to get a hold of the boat, one may call the office number if it is during the regular business hours—Monday thru Friday, 9-5pm (Eastern time) — 401-849-3033/800-395-1343. Arabella may be reached at any time and anywhere by the boat's satellite phone.  The boat and key shore personnel numbers will be sent to you prior to your cruise.

*Your most up-to-date information with important numbers will be sent to you prior to your cruise.
